The first bathroom renovation was completed in Tingalpa. The old bathroom was completely gutted, all the framing was checked before being waterproofed and tiled for a fresh new look.
The second bathroom was in old Queenslander in Warrill View. Like most old homes, nothing is plumb so the stud walls were built out to make the room square which also allowed for R4.5 ceiling batts to installed in the wall for a higher rating. Vapour barrier was then installed prior to VJ paneling or new plasterboard in the tiled areas.
Tiling was completed by a professional QBCC registered tiler who works closely with Mochara Carpentry for that professional finish.
To comply with council regulations, the Form 4 supplied by the plumber is provided to the owner upon completion of the job.
Where possible, we try and use local trades such as plumbers and electricians to support local business.
